This new Craft Room addition establishes a fresh, modern overlay onto this existing Rancho Santa Fe home. The room features a fourteen foot tall ceiling with wood trusses and an oversized bay window, which brings ample natural light into the room. Inset into the bay window is a custom designed sewing station. The center island with decorative lanterns above, is not only a visual feature; but a central gathering location in the room. On one side of the room, the owner can enjoy a more private executive office, and on the other side is a den / T.V. room for relaxation. 

The courtyard remodel makes the best use of the existing outdoor space by creating an "outdoor room." The new plan includes lounge seating around an existing fireplace, as well a large dining table. In addition, horizontal roman shades provide protection from the sun, and drapes surround the edge of the courtyard to provide both visual and acoustic softening.
